Our company
Convinced that the green transition requires a form of public transportation capable of competing with cars in terms of travel time, Urbanloop develops, manufactures, and operates a 100% autonomous and electric transportation solution. With no waiting times or intermediate stops, Urbanloop is revolutionizing personal mobility by offering a real alternative to private cars through a network of capsules guided along dedicated lanes.
Several local authorities have already entrusted us with deploying these solutions, notably in Saint-
Quentin-en-Yvelines as part of the Paris 2024 Olympics and in Nancy, where we are developing a
7-km loop with 7 stations and 40 capsules.
Joining us means joining a team of about thirty young, committed, and
close-knit individuals working toward the transportation of tomorrow. It means joining a startup recognized as one of the
most promising in the field of mobility, a winner of the FrenchTech
2030 program, and getting involved in shaping the company’s culture.
AS PART OF OUR EXPANSION, URBANLOOP IS HIRING A NETWORK, SYSTEMS, AND SECURITY ENGINEERFOR OUR NANCY OFFICE
Urbanloop is a system of autonomous rail-based shuttles designed to address
public transportation challenges that current solutions fail to address or address only partially. The main differences from existing systems lie primarily in minimal wait times at stations (the shuttles wait for passengers, not the other way around), minimal land use, the use of a dedicated track allowing for higher commercial speeds, and low installation costs. These shuttles are equipped with computer hardware that is subject to cybersecurity risks. They must communicate with each other and with a central control center over a secure network: this communication must therefore be reliable, fast, and secure.
You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and deployment of IT hardware and the communications network. An additional responsibility involves managing
the company’s IT systems. As part of your duties, you will spend
time at the test site and participate in various tasks related to the installation
of the network infrastructure.
