SALES AND DESIGN MANAGER - URBAN MOBILITY

Our company

Convinced that the ecological transition must include a means of public transport capable of competing with the car on travel time, Urbanloop develops, produces and supervises a 100% autonomous, electric transport solution. With no waiting or intermediate stops, Urbanloop revolutionizes individual mobility by offering a real alternative to the private car via a network of guided capsules on exclusive right-of-way.

Several local authorities have already put their trust in us to deploy these solutions, including Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines for the Paris 2024 Olympics and Nancy, where we are developing a 7 km, 7-station, 40-capsule circuit.

SALES AND RESEARCH MANAGER - MOBILITYÉ URBAN

Urbanloop designs a new generation of low-carbon, safe and energy-efficient urban surface transportation. Our ambition is to offer Urbanloop routes tailored to local needs, based on an innovative approach and pre-opportunity studies as a means of disseminating our solution.

You'll be in charge of managing the research department, as well as sales and strategic development.

Frequent travel is required throughout France.

Salary from €50K per annum, depending on profile

The position and missions

Steering the Research Department

  • Manage, structure and lead the team in charge of feasibility, pre-opportunity and technical-economic studies.
  • Guarantee the quality, relevance and consistency of the deliverables produced.
  • Implement methodologies and tools adapted to the analysis of mobility projects (urban and suburban public transport).
  • Ensure coordination with other internal departments (technical, strategy, etc.).

Business & Strategic Development

  • Implement a prospecting strategy with local authorities, mobility associations, developers and major industrial accounts.
  • Identify development opportunities upstream, in line with local priorities (PDU, ZFE, energy transition, etc.).
  • Represent Urbanloop at trade fairs, conferences, calls for projects and institutional meetings.

Build and maintain partnerships with public and private players in the mobility ecosystem

Profile and skills required

Training 

  • Engineering degree or sciences po / public law / business school / territorial strategy/urban planning, with a specialization or strong appetite for urban mobility issues.

Experience 

  • At least 8 to 10 years' experience in the public transport or surface mobility sector, in a design office, a mobility operator, a local authority or an industrial company.
  • Detailed knowledge of the local authority ecosystem (issues, decision-making processes, public procurement).
  • Proven experience in setting up, coordinating and promoting mobility studies.
  • Excellent command of English (fluent level required)
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to federate a team and interact with high-level contacts.
